If not....dangit, check it out!
I know, I know..where 'haaaave' I been? Most of ya'll know this by now, but I just can't seem to post any new blogposts until I get it out there, you know?

A month ago, my meemaw lost her battle with cancer. I thank you for all your concerns about her health and all our well-beings throughout her struggle. Simply said, she amazed me till the end and I will always love her. I think she got the best care and kept the best attitude throughout her dealings with cancer, and I'm so proud of my parents for helping her through this. I flew to Maryland to attend the funeral and to help my parents finalize things with moving and packing and then the quickest drive back. Great thing is that we got a stow-away! My uncle Don has decided to move to Portland, Oregon!! I'm so happy to have him near, and I wish him all the luck in the world getting started in a new city.
On the homefront, Jordan is borrowing my uncle's electric guitar and it's sounding sooo good! He's been taking lessons for about two months on my acoustic and he's really getting the hang of it. I'm pretty proud of him, he's impressing me with this one. So far it's about remembering chords and practicing transitions from chord to chord, but he's also been finding some strum patterns that he can keep up for quite a while. I swear, sometimes when I'm in here working on photos or something, I'll hear him practicing and I can't tell if he's learning off of a pod-cast, DVD, or playing it himself. Today, I heard him playing a blues riff (is that the right word?) that I know you all know( think louie-louie) and I had to go check on him to see if he was just watching someone else play...today, he was hooked into our stereo playing the blues! It was pretty cool.
What have I been up to? Well, after two weeks of being out of town, Jack and Maggie went in for surgeries to remove lumps. They both tested negative for any cancers and they've healed up really well by now. Now that we're back down to one dog, ( maggie went back to Mom and Dad), we're getting excited about adding more to the household...so I think long about December we'll be considering some options...in dogs that is.
Cheers to new blogposts, cuz some really exciting stuff has been being worked on and I really can't wait to share it with ya'll.
Thanks for checking in on me.
